A native of Frederick, Maryland, illustrator Peter Ambush attended the Maryland Institute College of Art, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, specializing in illustration and graphic design. He spent 11 years and completed more than 400 covers as an illustrator and graphic designer for the Star Ledger and its Scanner TV guide, and other sections of the New Jersey daily newspaper. Ambush now teaches airbrush at duCret School of Art in Plainfield, New Jersey and is self-employed as a freelance artist, and taking projects on commission. He lives in Stroudsburg, PA with his wife and daughter. One Million Men and Me is his first picture book.
