Wade and Cheryl Hudson Share the Story 

With dual roles as publishers and authors, Wade and Cheryl Hudson offer unique perspectives into the world of children’s literature, education, diversity, publishing and entrepreneurship. Their areas of expertise span many areas, including:

• Diversity in children's book publishing
• Children’s book writing, marketing, and distribution
• Diversity in education
• Marketing to under-served communities

The Hudsons speak at schools, industry conferences, panels and other events. Recently they were commissioned to create and facilitate workshops for Freedom Schools, operated nation-wide by the Children’s Defense Fund. Their presentation topics have included:

• Building a Curriculum of Diversity workshop for educators
• Introducing Multicultural Literature to Young Readers for parents or educators
• The ABCs of Publishing Children’s Books
